Once you have completed the etc.Black Mastercard Prepaid Card activation, which will include the e-KYC process and approval (subject to BAYO’s review). After you have reloaded your etc.Black Mastercard Prepaid Card, you are able to use the Card at any available merchants and Mastercard supported ATMs that are registered with Mastercard.
How can I activate my etc.Black Mastercard Prepaid Card?
You can activate your etc.Black Mastercard Prepaid Card by registering through the etc.Black mobile app, which includes the e-KYC process. The card will be activated within 2 to 5 working days, subject to BAYO’s review and approval. The etc.Black mobile app is available for download from the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Huawei AppGallery.
Where can I use my etc.Black Mastercard Prepaid Card?
The etc.Black Mastercard Prepaid Card is accepted at all Mastercard merchants locally and internationally. You can perform online and retail transactions as well as cash withdrawals at any ATM registered with Mastercard.
Can I use my etc.Black Mastercard Prepaid Card at a petrol station’s self-service kiosk?
Yes, you can use the etc.Black Mastercard Prepaid Card at the petrol station’s self-service kiosk. However, a pre-authorization of RM200 will be withheld from the balance of the Card until the actual amount is received from the acquiring bank. To avoid the amount being withheld via pre-authorization, you just need to pay at the cashier where the exact purchased amount will be deducted from your Card.
Can I use my card overseas?
To use your card for international transactions, you are required to enable your card from your etc.Black Mobile App to accept international transactions. To do so:

You can reload your etc.Black Mastercard Prepaid Card by logging in to etc.Black mobile app and performing a reload via online banking (FPX), or via salary deposit by the employers for foreign workers with no local bank account.
What is my maximum reloading limit?
Your approved card limit (Wallet size) is RM10,000. You may reload up to a balance of RM10,000 in your Card at any one time and are subject to a daily reload limit of RM20,000.

Bayo Customer Service’s working hours are operating from 8.30a.m. to 11.00p.m. on Monday to Friday and 8.30a.m. to 12.30p.m. on Public Holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

When can I get the refund of my balance in etc.Black Mastercard Prepaid Card?
The balance in your etc.Black Mastercard Prepaid Card will be refunded to you within 14 days from your termination date. The balance will be credited to your bank account (maintained with a local bank), which you have provided to us. No refund will be processed if the card is terminated due to fraudulent or suspicious activities.
What should I do if I have a transaction dispute on my etc.Black Mastercard Prepaid Card?
In the event of any dispute for unauthorized and error transactions, you need to inform Bayo in writing within 14 days from the date of the transactions. Failing which, the transaction shall be deemed true and accurate where you are considered to have accepted the transaction as final and conclusive.
Can I use my prepaid card for contactless retail payment?
Your prepaid card is enabled with a contactless feature. For first-time usage, you are required to slot your card into the merchant point-of-sales (POS) terminal and enter your PIN to activate the contactless feature.
Can I disable contactless payment on my prepaid card?
If you wish to disable contactless payment on your etc.Black Mastercard Prepaid Card, you can reach out to Bayo Customer Service at +603-76215151 during our operating hours.
What are the contactless transaction limits on my prepaid Card? How can I reduce these contactless transaction limits?
Your prepaid card has a default contactless transaction limit of a maximum of RM250 per transaction and a daily cumulative limit of RM500. Please use a Chip & PIN to perform transactions above these limits. How do I access the Bank Transfer feature?
Bank transfer is available via the etc.Black mobile App. To go to the Bank Transfer simply follow these steps:
Is it possible for me to transfer funds to another individual’s bank account?
Transfers are only allowed to own bank accounts in Malaysia. Please ensure the bank account details provided are accurate and match the records at the bank.
How do I get proof of transaction after completing a transaction?
Upon successful transaction, you will be directed to the “Successful” page that shows details of your payment and the option to share the Receipt.
How do I check the status of my transfer?
Successful transactions will be displayed on your Transaction History. To check your transfer status, all you have to do is tap on ‘Transaction’ to view your transaction history.
If your transaction is not reflected in the Transaction History page, but the amount has been deducted from your account, please contact our Customer Support Hotline at +603 7621 5151 for further assistance.
What will be shown on the beneficiary bank statement after a successful transaction?
You will see our service provider, Leanis Solution SD in the transaction description in the beneficiary bank statement.

Each biller requires different information. You may check the information needed when you select your biller. Please ensure that the bill details are entered correctly before submitting your payment.
Can I pay bills on behalf of others?
Yes, you can pay bills for others if you have their billing details.
Are bill payments processed on the same day?
Not all payee corporations process payments daily. Therefore, to avoid late payments, it’s best to make your payments in advance as required by the payee corporations.
Is Bill Payment easily accessed?
Bill Payment is available 24/7, and you can pay from anywhere. All you need is internet access.
Is there any service charge using the Bill Payment?
No, Bayo does not impose any fee for using this feature.
Why can’t I pay my bill?

If I overpaid my bill or made payment to the wrong account, can I request a refund?
Once a transaction has been successfully paid to the biller, a refund is not possible on our side. You may contact the biller to request a refund. Thus, it is important to ensure that you enter the correct billing details.
How do I view my previous bill payment transaction?
You can retrieve your last 10 bill payment transactions history through the Marketplace page by following these steps:
How do I add my bill account number as a favorite list?
You will need to proceed with the payment first. After successful payment, click on the “Add to favourite” button. Enter your desired biller and then click “OK”. A new favourite list will be added to your Marketplace page under the “My Favourite” section.
How do I delete my favourite list when it is no longer needed?
Select the account that you want to remove, then select the “Dustbin” icon at the top right side of the screen, select “Continue” and the selected favourite list will be removed.
Can I still make a payment if my bill is overdue?
Yes, you can still pay for overdue bills.
What are the products available in the Marketplace ?
What is the difference between Pin Top-up & Pinless Top-up?
Pin top-up is an option where users can purchase a mobile top-up with the predefined amount provided, whereas a Pinless top-up is an option where users can purchase a mobile top-up or pay the postpaid bill with a variable amount.

All etc.Black mobile App users are eligible to use the service.

What is the conversion rate applicable under the remittance service?
Exchange rates will be displayed on the remittance page before making the transfer. Once you finish creating an order, we will lock the exchange rate for a fixed period. You will receive the same rate as long as your payment is indicated/reflected in our account within this fixed period. The same agreed rate will be reflected on your dashboard and remittance receipt.

Can I cancel the transaction?
Once you have created an order and made the payment, you will not be able to cancel the order from your end.
How long will it take for my money to reach the recipient?
It generally takes 1-2 working days to reach your recipient. The time it takes depends on the currencies involved, bank holidays and weekends in both the sending and receiving countries.
How long does it take to refund?
Refunds will be processed on a business day. In the event your refund request is allowed, the funds after deductions (if any) will be refunded to your etc.Black e-Wallet. While we endeavor to process the refunds as soon as possible, it may take up to 14 working days from the date of the occurrence of unsuccessful remittance transactions.

What is IFSC Code?

SecureTAC – In-App Approval
What is SecureTAC ?
SecureTAC is an in-app approval feature used to verify and authorize online card transactions. It helps protect your account by ensuring that only you can approve payments.
When is SecureTAC required?
SecureTAC is required only for online card transactions, such as e-commerce purchases using your card. There is no minimum amount.
When is SecureTAC NOT required?
SecureTAC is not used for any payments made directly inside the app. Payments such as wallet top-ups, bill payments in-app, remittance, and bank transfers continue using the existing Mobile Pin or standard flow.
I didn’t receive SecureTAC for my online card transaction. What should I do?
If you do not receive your SecureTAC, please ensure that your internet connection is stable, app notifications are enabled, and you are logged in on your registered device. BPSB reserves the right, to amend this frequently asked question (“FAQ”), the transactions eligible for earning points, the number of Rewards Points required to redeem Rewards, as well as the procedures in making the redemption.

Can you tell me what the “Cashback and Rewards Program” is all about?
This Loyalty Points feature in etc.Black mobile App is introduced to allow users to
earn points and redeem points for Cashback.
The four (4) main components of this feature are as follows: –
How does Loyalty Points work?
The Cashback and Rewards Program is a points-based program for users to earn
points which translates into a cashback reward.
Currently, you will be able to earn points by performing the following payment transactions: –

You shall be notified of other loyalty points campaigns from time to time.
What can I do with the points collected?
Once you have collected a minimum of 2000 points, you may redeem it for cashback. The conversion rate for redemption is 2000 points = RM1.00 cashback (rounding to the nearest cents). The following will be the formula of points conversion.
The point redeemed / 2000 points = Cashback amount.
Example 1:
If you redeemed 2010 points, you would get RM1.00 cashback.
Calculation: 2010 / 2000 = RM1.005.
Thus, your cashback value received is RM1.00 (rounding to the nearest cents)
Example 2:
If you redeemed 2014 points, you would get RM1.01 cashback.
Calculation: 2014 / 2000 = RM1.007.
Thus, your cashback value received is RM1.01 (rounding to the nearest cents)
How can I redeem the points?
You can redeem it by logging in to etc.Black mobile App and click on the Payment Menu and select ‘Loyalty Points’ or ‘Points Redemption’ page, and then ‘Enter the points that you wish to redeem’. Once you have successfully redeemed, the cashback will be credited immediately into your etc.Black mobile App.
Is there any cost involved?
No. The feature is currently Free of Charge.
Who is eligible to earn and redeem points?
The registered Users with Active account status are eligible for the Loyalty Rewards Program
Will I get my points immediately after making a purchase?
The points will be awarded to you at the time of the successful transaction via etc.Black mobile App, while points for spending using the card will be awarded once the settlement has been presented by the merchant which normally takes around one (1) week or more.
Where can I check my points balance, transactions, and expiry?
You can view your points balance, transactions history and expiry by logging in to etc.Black mobile App by clicking on Payment menu and selecting Loyalty Points.
Is there any expiry date to my Loyalty Points?
Your points have a maximum validity period of one (1) year and six (6) months. The frequency of expiry is two (2) times a year, on every 30th June and 31st Dec.

Can I transfer my points to someone else?
No. Loyalty points are non-transferable.
Can I cancel my redemption?
The redeemed loyalty points cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable.
If I close my account, will the points still be available?
The loyalty points earned shall be forfeited and are not redeemable if your account(s) has been blocked, closed, canceled, or terminated.
What will happen if my points show a negative balance?
For negative points balance (points shown in bracket), your future points earned will be deducted from the negative balance and you can only redeem it again after you have collected sufficient points for redemption.
In what situation will my points show a negative balance?
The negative point balance will happen when you redeem points, and a refund happens after your redemption. The system will auto-reverse the collection points for the refund transaction.
